Yes...................I had the exact same motor in a Cyclone on 4s using an APC 4.75 x4.75. Seemed like it wasn't being pushed too hard. Recently sold the plane with the power system.
I believe the E version is a custom wind which reduces the kv by about 6% which corresponds to a kv of 2550.
Here are the specs for the 16/35/1.5R :
1.5R is the wind (2700kV normally), the E designates the rotor is out of the next size up (ie a 16/40 in this case). So you get the same low resistance, but with a 5-8% lower kV due to more magnetic grunt. KV should be just a tad over 2500. The only downside is a slightly heavier weight.

Ive always just lived with the average fit of the graupner blades on the MPjet spinners, sometimes using a washer to space the prop forward so the blade TE doesnt touch the back plate helps.
Truturn spinners... lets not go there
