I'm sure the Swist will work with any 2.4ghz system. check my build thread for ideas for antenna mounting. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1614380

If you have the short antenna Assan recievers, I would NOT put them in a Viper or Swist, I am unsure that even the long antennas will be to your satistaction. Assan has good range but not in the same leauge as Futaba, Corona or FrSky.

To much risk and money to put an Assan in a ship like this, just my opinion, I have/have had almost all the 2.4ghz systems around and tested them hard both in reability and range, I would only trust Futaba and FrSky of the systems I have in a Viper or Swist..

Of course, Frsky is a good system, put the antennas outside the fuse, and do a range check before flight, you should be fine..

I would say yes, I had a 5S 4400mAh in there but is was a little too big. Diffrent brands have diffrent formfactors so try to fins a battery that have the best form factor.

I am figuring Soaring gets these in bulk, cause it showed up in the same box that my VooDoo did.....they do a very impressive job,the plane is wrapped twice with bubble wrap, then taped in a very thick cardboard box that has wood corners....I kid you not, both planes took a half hour to unwrap ....it makes getting the plane feel like Christmas morning : )

I made a template from the motor and then used it to drill the holes. Worked fine.

Here are a few pictures on my set up. Nothing fancy but it all works great.Maybe it will give you some ideas.
