As far as I can tell, the only significant difference between the Excite and the Swist is the huge battery compartment in the Swist. I could be wrong though, I have an Excite but no Swist.

Hello,
I just order one, I live in France I hope to have it very soon ...
Too bad for taxes ....
I've only seen some pictures where it is green and black or pink and black. Mine will be white and green. Who took pictures of this model?
With I have taken a folding propeller carbon 4.75 * 4.75. I'm tired of replacing my impeller every 2 or 3 vols.
But its performance is it correct?
Hope to read you again ...

They used to have pix that showed the diferent nose cones, but seems they are not there anymore. I have the Blast, I can find absolutely no diference what so ever except for the name, and neither can anyone else.

So, in a sense, they are still available. They now give you the slope or electric option on the order panel. You used to get all 3 cones, I'm not sure if you still do or not.

Thanks for that Bill ... but I'm committed to the Swist now (still waiting for delivery which is taking a while now ) ... I was just wondering why he recommended getting the Excite before the Swist.

Now the only question is whither or not to hold out for the flapped version. . Not a bad problem to have.

So I am stuck away from home, without a travel plane. ( crashed the last one beyond recognition)

Just looking for some sympathy here gentleman. It ain't easy being away I tell ya!

I hear that Susa Bob has a Swist for his own personal use... Humm. Makes me really interested in the two piece "travel wing" that will take F5B leftovers no problem...

I'm still blown away by the fact that we've been talking about (and some have gotten theirs) this plane since January and to date there're only a couple of reports/videos of it flying etc.

I know that a lot of folks are not on the forums but there are enough people on that when a great new plane comes out there are typically dozens of reports of it in very short order! I wonder what gives with this one??

Usually, the simplest explanation is the correct one.

Rich, you just may have point. I was eye'n the Swist and Viper myself. And now, the "correct one" is getting ready to go into moulds.

It is kinda hard to believe there aren't more reports on the Swist yet....plenty on the Viper.

Dearest Bob, aka Candy Man,

Sitting on the road for a week now, with no Absolute, and I'm suffering from hotel rot, and HP RC withdrawal symptoms.

Please help me.

You crack me up. You're becoming like me, having to go to work so you can fly rc planes. Welcome to my world!

I saw the plane last weekend on a german F5D contest. The fuse is big enough to carry big lipos for fun- freestyle setups. The speed looked similar to the other competitors in his turn. The two peaces wing held
looks good ...so feel good and wait for it
