Hello Bob ,,, I know you can ship them for that amount,,, shippingprice from US = 70-75 us dollars = 47-48 euros in shipping wich is about twice what it costs in Europe to send such a package.. then you have to add VAT 25% on the whole price..

So for me to get a swist from US will be= 599+70 us dollars + 25% = 836 dollars + some extra fees for handling + 20 dollars = almost 856 US dollars for a swist.... Thats to much..

If I could find one in Europe, I would save half the shipping+ extre fees+VAT, that would save mee= 167(VAT) + 35(shipping) + 20(extre fees) = 222 Us dollars, and thats much saving foor a poor student like me ..

Thanks..

If I had a "friend" in the US that would send me as a GIFT, well then I would get rid of the fees and VAT... That would be a different case..

Sorry for taking space in this thread about me and taxes, fees, VAT to Sweden...

sebbe, hold out for what you really want. The Swist is a unique plane due to it's fuse dimensions and transportability. If you plan to take advantage of those elements, with long run times or higher power and transportability, it's got no competition I know of. Good luck in getting one, Eric

I'd get the Excite and then get the Swist later.

Regardless of what they call it, this is an excite http://www.skipmillermodels.com/Blast_3X_p/blast_3x.htm

They used to have pix that showed the diferent nose cones, but seems they are not there anymore. I have the Blast, I can find absolutely no diference what so ever except for the name, and neither can anyone else.

So, in a sense, they are still available. They now give you the slope or electric option on the order panel. You used to get all 3 cones, I'm not sure if you still do or not.
