It's a moulded fuse so it should line up perfect. Contact the manufacture (if you can) and say they positioned the blind nuts in the fuse to far forward so the wing won't bolt on. I wouldn't mind betting that even if you did manage to get the wing on, the wing saddle won't seat the wing properly and you could then have an incidence issue. Of course thats worst case scenario. But best to contact the builders first and ask why they sent you a $600 airframe that you can't bolt the wing to.

Well I purchased it from SUSA, and had to wait to get it, should I tell them or go right to AJ aero models? This sucks, I saved up for ever to buy this plane, I usually don't just have 600$ kickin' around just for fun, I am really disappointed. I hope it isn't a big deal.

The Swist, like many other models, Avionik, Surprise, RW may need to have the front of fuse opened up with a dremel for the front wing tab, or need to have the back of the wing "tab" shortened a bit too to fit. This is very common, and takes less then 5 minutes to "fit". Give us a call if you need more assistance.

What Bob said......I had to do a bit of work to get my wing to fit perfect...It was due to the fact that it has that thick Kevlar inside the Carbon fuz in my case.I just took a dremel with a small sanding wheel to trim everything up nice.Also on mine,i had to remove a bit inside the top of the fuz where the front wing tap is seated when all is bolted down....Just crack open a nice cold beer and get your inner surgeon on

Yup, you shouldnt really have to do it, but it isnt uncommon

Its when you have to add material to a wing seat that really sucks

So! Which models are delivered in the state of completion the buyer deserves when he is spending his hard earned savings with the anticipation of an easy installation of only the driveline and servos to get going?

Is there a single 6s 2200mah that fits with ease in the Swist? If so, what brand and C rating?

Not without a shoehorn ! Go 2X4...It is VERY easy after plugging it in a few times.

Thanks for the info Bob, it turned out just fine with a little tweaking of the sanding, I figured it was common place with any molded product, theres bound to be a little flashing and such to sand, I just should have waited a little longer for everybody who has a Swist to pipe up with their replies on their experience of the fitting.
So others have had to do the same thing.......ok no problem that's why I asked.

Anyways got the stab glued on tonight too...who hoo!!

Still trying to decide on servos for the wing also.

That would be cool, or actually a photo of the battery configuration would be fine.

You using 2x4 TP 2200mah 65C? or 45C?
