Looking better all the time Joe ! Erica is doing a great job with the camara. I know how hard it can be to keep the micros in frame.

(NOTE: the following addresses only the scale aspect of the kit for anyone interested)

1. The kit scales out at 1/32, and comparing to the Trumpeter 1/32 plastic kit, the canopy is definitely too far forward as I noted above. Additionally, it's too large - the fix is to cut out the flat section behind the windscreen, reassemble, and you have a near perfect canopy! As an alternate, you can get this.

2. The Trumpeter kit decals are a perfect fit, but hard to find outside of the kit.

3. An addition that will help most to achieve a more scale Warthog is the cannon. An 8mm x 44mm dowel faired into the nose will do nicely.

Gene, can you scan the decal sheet? I'd like to draw up a vector set for printing.

I've also ordered 1/32 decals for the A-10. Three different schemes. Should be here any day now

Absolutely - I'll send hi-res scans to your email address.

For others, here's a link to what the sheets look like (bottom of page):

Were are you guys ordering these decals from? Are they waterslide? That would make this model the cat's arse.

Just a note. The model is made of EPS foam and not EPO as mentioned in post 1. That's why many of us received ours with cracks and dents.

I see ELEMODEL is advertising the model as being EPO, so maybe yours is indeed EPO

A few companies produce A-10 decals, like Cutting Edge, Two Bobs and Afterburner Decals.

Pictures of what the decals look like can be found under the decal review section here:

I'm in the middle of the confusion myself. My receipt doesn't show anything in regards to being EPS or EPO, the foam is pretty darned flexible with large beads. It tears like EPO but melts like EPS. Add to the fact that according to speedy01 who has both EPS and EPO, the EPO has better fittment of the wing. That's something that mine doesn't have. The EPO supposedly has a thicker wing.... I hope Speedy 1 posts some pics.

Evidently there have been lots of changes during the Beta test stage so who really knows what the deal is. I was originally fooled by the material, perhaps it's just a new formula with a different mix of properties. Mine certainly doesn't feel as brittle as the usual EPS models, there is substantially more flex in the parts.

Maybe ELERC can comment?

Unfortunately, Cutting Edge ceased operations a couple of years ago, so their decals are hard to find in retail stores.
