It's a nice helicopter and easy to upgrade. That's all I'll say right now. Stay tuned.

$18.29 (Battery Superstore, is my trusted seller), is a great price. I wouldn't spend 2 less for an unknown seller.
HP, thanks for the Borg warning! Buying one potentially opens up a totally new field of heli flying/collecting: the Syma 3 ch. scale helicopters. Read your excellent s108g review; interesting to look at the innards of the s108 also.

Doubletap, thank you for the 3 ch. heli links. More helis available for great prices.

DT, great find, especially for those who are looking to only acquire a single unit and get free shipping.

I just placed an order for two more S107G at Amazon last night. They were $18.50 each.

Resistance is definitely futile!

Recently Amazon has started guestimating "sales tax" for me,.. although I'm in IL and Battery Superstore doesn't have ANY "brick & morter" stores in IL.
Anyone else experience this lately? Is it a new obama-trick or something?

Newegg doesn't do it..... yet.

Interesting.... From my experience, if Amazon ships from their own warehouse and it is from my state (CA), then they charge sales tax. I'm guessing if the order is 'fulfilled by Amazon', then they ship it and charge tax as appropriate, regardless who the backend supplier is.

Edit: If its fulfilled by Amazon, then it comes with Amazon's hassle-free return policy. Well worth the price of the tax IMO.

^^^^ THIS!!!!

Darn straight. I've returned a couple of S110Gs that had poor battery performance and/or severe TBE that way. Free shipping and no questions asked. Amazon customer service has been good to me.

I don't like talking politics and have no business in this thread but that comment annoyed me. You get charged sales tax from an online retailer and blame Obama? How absolutely insane is that. Personally I'm not voting this year because we're screwed either way, but I do not understand this hatred of our current president. Indifference, general disapproval, disagreement sure but blaming one man for every problem in an entire nation? Holy cow talk about ignorance. Everyday I become less and less proud to be an American, all it is anymore is advertising to the world that you surround yourself with ignorant rednecks who will believe anything they get told as long as it agrees with their beliefs.

It bothered me too but I think in certain circles they wouldn't even understand why anyone would be upset by it. Let's just hope we never have to find out how bad things might be under an alternative, though the coming contest may well be decided by non-voters as much as voters.

its no mystery. those with conscience and intelligence will always be despised by those who come up short in those areas. human nature. google "tall poppy syndrome".

Great info here!

Interestingly enough, the color scheme of the "white" S107G on Amazon is different than what's on Nitroplanes:

vs.

The different Syma S107 colors are definitely interesting to watch for!
Amazon does has a page with the same white S107 as what Nitroplanes lists. A few days ago my son noticed that on different Amazon pages, there were two different green S107 color schemes shown, and we then checked on the white S107's and noticed the two different white schemes also.
BTW, no guarantee that the S107 ordered from Amazon will have the exact color design as pictured on the Amazon page. Recently I received a yellow genuine Syma S107 from Amazon but with a new yellow color scheme similar to the white S107 on the above link.

The free shipping offer from Nitroplanes must be for CONUS only, utilizing UPS Ground. Tried an order with Priority Mail shipping and they would have charged their usual Priority shipping rates. Do appreciate seeing the price and shipping tips mentioned on this thread.
