It didn't last long enough for him to post the thread and then for me to click the link.

5888 Dippin' Into the $Thirties$.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GYRO-Metal-4...ht_1165wt_1037

For precision stunts, landing patterns, and indoor 4CH tricks, nothing is more satisfying than the responsive finesse of the 5888.

On the other hand, nothing is more aggravating than a twitchy, slow-to-respond helicopter that's a challenge to even hold in one place, let alone land on top of a ceiling fan blade.

There is nothing boring about the 5888's ability to out maneuver it's competitors. The 5888 can pull off any fine tuned maneuver you can imagine. The only limit is your imagination.

If you want a challenge hovering, move up to a fixed or collective pitch. Don't put blades on a turd and wing it.

$39.98 shipped, to be exact. (Cheapest 5888 shipped I've seen)

Hey, I said dippin' into the thirties, not plummeting.

Once it's down to $33.33 shipped, I'm sellin' an organ to get 3 for under $100.

They have this statement in the link above:
"Electronic system has been completely improved by our engineer before packing, no adjustment is needed."

Wonder what that means?

That's Chinglish for "My great grandfather flies and adjusts the helicopter before we ship it, so It hovers hands free out of the box for you."

The 5888 has sonic digital trim controls, but you won't have to touch them unless you crash it up.

I have written about these before. I have bought 5 of these and resold 3 w/o opening. Of the two I kept one flies but is a little flaky in that it flies slowly by comparison with the other and won't quite trim out straight ahead.

My "victims" never said a word, so perhaps the other 3 were primo, I just can't say.

If you get a "good" one, these are speedy little bullets and the first time I fired mine up it was like a hummngbird attack.

These are 3CH IR "Team RC YD-237 Talon Mini V2" helis. Basically an update of the SH 6025-1, slightly larger with a cute little AAA-using IR Tx. Only come in Red and Black as far as I've ever seen. Unlike SH 6025-1 (which is the V1) this V2 is charger-compatible with S110G, S107, S032, etc. (correct polarity).

Hoping to get at least 1 more good unit, I just bought 2 more for myself and my sons.

Here's the red one: http://www.meritline.com/team-rc-yd2...--p-64886.aspx

$24.99 shipped (or 2 for $39.99!).

For those that whined about the chinese sellers selling their helis for $1 and $36 in shipping...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-4-GHz-Sing...item415c4ad33c

Has anyone bought one?

It appears to have a removable battery...that's interesting....

Similar to the 9958, but not entirely the same. Just compare the flybar location.

Hmm, I haven't seen this 4Ch "slapper swash" IR unit before

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm...olesalers.html

$23.37 shipped to U.S. right now.

Price went up, now $27.37 USD shipped.

Another small IR 4CH heli:

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm...olesalers.html

$30.53 shipped to U.S. right now.

I have one of these and it's a nice little flier. I paid quite a bit more too.

Somewhat smaller than the MingJi F301s that are becoming more common now, and unlike the increasingly popular Mode 4 Tx helis (such as the F301 and F501) this Feixuan FX025 has a Mode 2 Tx to please the old farts out there.

My deepest apologies to anyone who jumped and bought one. This is a Mode 4 heli!

Charging is opposite polarity of S107 though the same connector is used.
