Ordered from Ebay vendor on August 14, received today August 22. not bad from Hong Kong.$17.91 shipped.

This cheap little sub micro IR toy heli came with a USB charging cord, instruction manual, a spare tail rotor, and the TX. The TX has an extra button that will turn and off the LED lights on the heli which is always a nice extra feature. Additionally, the throttle gimbal is ratcheted and non spring loaded. Overall, it looks like a nice and well constructed little toy heli, and the price was surely right!

It's on the charger right now.

Maiden flight on the Sky Lanneret is done. About what you could expect from a sub $18 tyro equipped sub micro IR 3 Ch toy heli. The ratcheted throttle is nice because you don't have to hold constant pressure on the Throttle lever to just keep the model in the air like the Syma S107. The control response is about the same as the S107 for yaw and pitch, but the throttle is far more responsive and very powerful so newbs would have to be careful to not slam this little guy into the ceiling. Having a button to control the bright chin spotlightlike LED is a plus. Pretty good, overall for a very inexpensive sub micro.

All joking aside, at the listed price of 26 bucks this looks like a darn tempting offer I might have to make this my first non-coax heli to land in my hangar
My Sky Thunderclap GYRO 4ch Mini Radio Control 4 Channel RC Helicopter arrived today. I am by no means an expert at RCs however I do own about 10 different mini RC makes & models so I was excited to see how the Sky Thunderclap would hold up to the Air Hogs Helix.
I will have to say that the Sky Thunderclap helicopter is a pile of rubbish! It is very cheaply made, badly designed & does not really fly. The reason it does not fly is because the rear tail rotor 'cogs' do not fit snug together & have a few mm of movement, this is enough to allow them to slip over one another thus disabling the back rotor. I am very disappointed however for the price I am not really surprised.

It was all sold out this morning when I got up and checked my emails, here on the West Coast. I've
scored on some good Newegg Shell Shockers Deals in the past, but was too late on this one today.

Sorry guys, I stumbled on it and thought maybe someone could take advantage. Looks like it was a very short window of opportunity... I still have an S107 and an S108G never opened, so I couldn't justify a perchase.

I'm really tempted on this one.

http://www.goodluckbuy.com/rechargea...scope-red.html

Anybody have any experience with it? Like the big main gears like a big heli but the tail rotor has me puzzled. Why would it need this?

Or this one, but it's $43, making it over the price limit, but from the description it has mode 2 RADIO controls, which I really need to learn on. Also had large main gears

OK, no replies, I'm pulling the trigger on the more expensive one from ebay because it's real 4 channel, MODE 2, and RADIO control, $43 is expensive for this little guy, I will report my findings!!

That is the Falcon 8911/8913, here is the main thread:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=falcon+8913

It's a decent and fairly popular inexpensive 4 CH coaxial sub micro

Syma S018 for $13.46 + FREE shipping

Here on Amazon from an associated seller is the Syma S018 heli for $13.46 plus free shipping. I was waiting to pick it up for it's previous price of $15 with my next Amazon order, but this is great! I'm getting one to add to my fleet!

http://www.amazon.com/Syma-S018-3-Ch...d=AX40PPZ210BR

EDIT:
Sorry guys... there was one left and I got it. Gotta be fast!!! Price back up to $15, which is still a great price.
