Question
Syma 032 Front LED Question( Syma 107 pilots might know also !!!)

Hi guys , just wondering.... if i was to disconnect the front blinking LED would it save some power ? or is the amount just too little to bother ? i've already disconnected it as it winds my cat up... just wondering if it has any benefits ?

any other mods that are easy to help me fill my night lol ( the mrs is at mother in laws) so i actually have time to mess around with it! but dont know where to start !!

On the list so far

weight adjustment as it often hovers around abit to the left !!
Paint
new skid pads

feel free to suggest mods youve carried out !!

cheers guys/girls

I don't think taking off the LED is worth it: I read somewhere it's literally 10 sec saved or something ridiculous like that.

Tell me what paint you use: I'm also looking to paint my craft with a light paint. I just don't know what.

I use an S107 and I'm ordering a F27 4 channel.

I'll keep my head up paint-wise and let you know what I find too.

To put numbers to it, heli LEDs are arranged so that there are only 2 on at a time, total ~40mA. 80mAh is one of the smallest heli batteries there is, and it could light the LEDs for 2 hours. So on that battery during a 6min flight the lights eat 1/20 of the capacity. A little more reasonable battery size, 240mAh, they eat 1/60. At 800mAh, they eat 1/200.

Some call them 'disco lights' but outside at night you wouldn't have a prayer orienting without them.
