Just an FYI for any Canadians that Best Buy and Futureshop now carry the GoPro line and have the Pro and 960 both on sale (free accessories) for boxing day sales events.

I just picked up the 960 with a spare battery and suction mount for $200

I checked BB today up here, I saw the 960 a couple of weeks ago there for C$199, so AFAIK there was no sale. I was thinking about it, but I would sooner spend the extra $ and get a regular Hero, the 960 it too limited for video modes for me, but YMMV.

Right now you can pick up the "naked" hero at pointofviewcameras.ca for C$270 including 4gb sd card. I'm tempted but my Exposure build is a long ways off yet, and my wallet is still burning from last minute Christmas shopping.

Gpscity.ca is cheaper than pointofview I've found, they had a $40 coupon on normal hd hero on twitter. I had the naked in cart for $180 and $10 shipping i think it was.

For me the 960 fit the budget for now anyway for what you get. Head mount being one of the main items for my needs.
