World Record Helios Flight

That's right, all 1 hour 15 minutes and 47 seconds of it. So by default, this makes it the best DLG in the world. Period.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it was done on a slope, but who's keeping score anyway?

Jingle Bells

Sinterklaas came just in time for the season with a big box full of goodies The goodies being the first mass US shipment of Helios! I was worried when I got the box, as you will see in the pictures, there was a label from the USPS labeled "We Care" and in it was a long, sugar-coated message telling me their apologies for damaging the package. I was about the drive back to post office and put a size 12 into somebody, but when I opened the box, I found my blind rage unfounded as Kristof had packed it all in a wooden box that was built good enough to be used as furniture, the goods were safe and sound. Apparently, the "damage" to the box was the splotch of what looked, felt, and even smelled like molasses on the side of the box that it had encountered along the way. Anyhow, here's a few teaser shots of customer's kits and my 2 Christmas gifts to myself

Kristof isn't lying, the finish of the later generation kits is even better than before, the fuses and wings are plate-glass smooth and strong. The new fuses are even stiffer and yet they weight the same. That FST wing is even more gorgeous in person than it is in pictures, and in a pinch could serve well as an axe for chopping wood for the fire.

The green/striped and red/striped are the two I picked up, I'm verrrry pleased with how they turned out. And you know I had to bench fly them! Look to see one of them in the winner's circle this upcoming season

Didn't get in on this order? Contact me

I would be on the naughty list myself if the wifey knew that 2 of them are mine

You can have as many as you want in the next order, heck you might even be able to snag a XX or two

Hi to All new owners
You are going to enjoy this ship more then you can imagine
and
I am willing to bet on what you have mentioned above

I own one for couple of months now, and all i can say is WOW.
Kristof has nailed the formula good

My personal feeling is based on several different kind of dlg's i own and fly at least twice a week.

the Glider that behave same as the Helios is the FW5 but the Helios is more vivid up there, in my experience.
I can't tell yet which of either of them is better, time will tell or not.

Keep the good work kristof

Gil
