doooh... i know, but in case i dont like laser just like msx, 48" would be less bummer than 60... :P i'd wait for 60" yak, but i guess its FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR away if ever...

Edge is the Best 3D learning tool(Slowest reacting and most predictable), and I'm sure the laser will be more advanced(like the 48" laser)..

The Extra is a very fast responding airframe. So I would say 60" Edge Now, 60 laser later..

sounds like a plan! now if i ever could figure way how to squeeze 3x 60" in my room without selling my 71"......

only bad part is as i have 4x 4s 4000, i want to convert to 6s.. now if you guys would ever come out with 70"(not bigger) edge, with removable tail like extra, i guess i would bancrupt...

I had a chance to fly a friend's 70" Extra this weekend and I would tend to agree.

Yes, in fact I owned one for a while and it's also an incredible airplane. I like it a bit more than the 70 but it's of course a bigger airplane. It really does outperform most 50cc planes. I had some engine issues with mine and when I was flying for PAU I never had a chance to get it back in the air so I sold it to a good friend. He's been flying it quite a bit after the engine mods and I will borrow it for a flight or two from time to time. Now that things have changed a bit I am debating whether to get another one.

Right on! I love mine! I was planning on getting a 91" Extra, but recently I'm starting to grove so well with the 78" that I don't feel the Need.

seeing D. Mcgrath toss his around, proves that I"m not limited by the airframe!

That was a great flight. Really, one of the best I have ever watched. Are all you moves planned out ahead of time or was that just a put it up in the air and string moves together at random?

That 70" is cool, but without ever seeing one, I don't know if there is enough of an advantage over a 60" With an MKII motor.

How long will the 91" be? Will I be able to move it in my wifes old mini van with the rear seats removed? I was thinking about selling the old van and getting a trailer but then I though the mini-van could be a trailer with an engine.

Yes,
I flew the 60" Laser and it is a high performance machine. It rolls lightening fast and is simply not as suitable as the Edge for 3D learning.

the 70" orange color scheme just looks hideous on the ground.



It looks pretty bright in flight though. Pops more than the red.
