You can now fly it uninhibited and really begin to push it and learn 3d.
That's what got me into this situation.

I was amazed at the lack of damage to the plane after inspection. I cracked my landing gear (real good), slightly scuffed one wheel pant, and busted up the horizontal stab. I ordered both parts from EF and should be back in the air this weekend! I love the design where I can debond the rudder and then remove the damaged horizontal and replace it with a new one.

+1 on structural strength on the Extra airframe!

i guess all depends on expierience... cant speak for 60" EF, but in 48 mxs airframe seems tough, but landing gear seems way worse than 3dhs... and 3dhs planes also is VERY tough.... only flying egshell is PA...

guys, i know a lot of you runs torque on 16x8... but somehow im bitten by carbon bug, and smallest carbon i could find is either mejzlik 16x8 gasser or falcon 17x6... what do you think about 17x6prop?

Rimaarts, just as something to try or think about, for what it's worth, which is probably less than $.02.

When I first setup my Laser, I had the insane throws as my main rate.
The tumbles were quite Extreme, and I liked it

But, my expo was 'running out' at about the perfect place for harriering around.
It made for a very jittery plane in harrier, going from 'just right' to 'too much'
elevator just by breathing on the stick. SO, I dialed back to ~50 degrees throw,
and cut back on my expo a bit, and it was an entirely different beast after that.

After I finally realized what was causing it, I could've probably also helped
matters by either increasing or decreasing expo to move the curve around a bit.
It was just too sensitive, right where I didn't need it to be.

Just wondering if you might have something similar going on with the MXS, that;s all.

Doc A's throttle mix guide.
http://docaustinextreme.blogspot.com...nding.html?m=1

I set my dx 8 up like this
The>ele
Second row is -10%
Offset is -90%
Fm2 activates the mix

This gives me about one servo click on throttle off and back to zero when I engage the first ratchet click on the throttle.
