It appeared that the sealed was faster. It appears that you were blowback on some of the high speed rolls.

I seal all my hinges now. After i tried it once the difference was obvious so now i do it before the maiden.


Here is a flight from today on my 78 Extra with EME35. I'm having a BLAST with this plane! I got 6 flights on it today but that added up to over 70 minutes of flight time

Will you go with only gas powered planes now or will you still use electric powered planes?

Fifteen minute flight times must be satisfying after being used to only six minutes.

For 30cc and up ill only do gas. Unless you have a bunch of small packs that you can double up to use for bigger planes its hard to get as much flight time as I like. I cant spend 500 dollars on 6 x 6s 5000 after a 1200+ dollar build.


Plus I like the sound

This is a good demonstration, and is consistent with my experience. The benefit is so obvious once you do it -- well, I also always seal my hinges now.

Yeah buddy!!! She's gonna scream!! It will sound better too. Personally I'm not a fan of the sound of stock mufflers. But a good tuned pipe or Canister ( Proflows ) sound just awesome IMO. Love the throaty sound and smooth transition of my Proflows.

What do you have in that 78" build if you don't mind me asking? I am still toying with the idea myself....
