If I could grab a few, I would.. This one is a must have for me. My pops has a bunch of time in them. He and I almost bought a full scale, but while the plane is "cheap" maintainence is not.. Same systems as early jets..

That is too cool Jeff. I can't imagine being able to just sit and chat with someone that has logged so much time in a warbird. You are very lucky!

Since the T-28 has 3 retracts, I'm thinking the T-28 when Nitroplanes sells it will be a tad more than the warbirds with 2 retractable gear

Yeh, My pops and uncle both flew in the Navy.. My uncle actually had a mid-air with a Tu-95.. LOL.. Flew it back to the ship though..

You should come out to Andy's next fly-in, I've drug my pops back into RC cuz I needed a flying buddy and I chose him.

I didn't even know this existed! That's it! I have to get one. I have a feeling this thing is going steal the market, along with their small T-28's (as long as they are relatively trouble free). Once people get the idea, they'll sell like hot cakes.

I got the mini t-28 and it's a blast so far. Very fast and even in wind pretty smooth. Has no bad habits but I put the ailerons in flaperon configuration - it helps a bit to slow it down :-)

Check my 800mm T-28... it's a beauty. I'm so getting this 1400mm version it's not even funny. Just wish they came out with a Navy Gray version as well.

Don't know if you actually can buy the colors but my guess is that vendors like NP will offer it.

@tmsn: I see you put a two-blade prop on it. What size is that? Also what kind of battery are you using? I am still flying the Mini T-28 on the three-blade prop with a 3S 800mAh 25-35C.

I put a 7x5.5 MAS on there, but that is only because I broke the stock 3-blade... while taxiing of all things :P ... i forgot a trike plane will easily tip to the side while taxiing in a close turn if you're not careful...

I actually do prefer the stock prop over the 2-blade - way more torque and more scale flight in my opinion. I've already ordered spares and plan on flying stock props as much as possible.

I am flying it on 3S 1000Mah 30C-40C, and it's just perfection.

WOAH! How right they are... "the last T-28 you will ever need" hahahah.

I think it's safe to assume it will the same exact scheme as the 800mm except larger then. Sweet.
