Top Flite B-25 ARF Electric Conversion Blog
I'm in the process of converting a Top Flite 87.5in. wing span, 18# ARF to electric. I will be using 2 Z-Power 780Kv (Helicopter) 352gram motors (long story), 2 Dymond RC 100 amp esc's and Rhom Air tricycle retracts. Just wondering if anyone out there is undergoing a similiar project with this kit or if there are any existing blogs? If so I would like to hear of any. also, any help/advise regarding batteries, prop combinations, etc. will be greatly appreciated!
Much thanks, Jerry

B 25 top flite conversion
I converted one earlier this year. I flew really sweet but was a beast to land. I'm thinking it may have been a tad on the heavy side. I originally was using two e-flite power 90s for power on 6 cell lipos. Problem was I couldnt get a big enough prop to get the power I wanted. Switched to two rimfire 1.20 spinning 14-10 apc props and the power was good. Good luck and try to keep the weight down . My flying weight was right at 23 pounds.
