First flight!
Well, I did my first fpv flight today and everything still works! Haha I can definitely say it was exhilarating and extremely scary(definitely more on the scary side)! I flew for a total of about 15 minutes, and to about 400' ft up I think. It was quit windy, more then I thought it was going to be definitely. My setup is a Penguin, m2815, 60a esc, stock three blade prop, RMRC 1.3 video system, 700tvl camera, dragonlink, fatshark dominators, cloverleaf antennas on vtx and vrx. 3s 4400mah flight battery. Here are some things I noticed, and some questions I have:
1)as the pictures show, I placed my camera on the lower part of the canopy, and angled down slightly. This made my view seem like I was much higher then I was. Anyone agree?
2) I'm lucky I landed when I did! I thought my battery was dying, but it was actually my prop spinning itself off! I was within seconds of loosing my prop! Any tips on keeping the prop on? I have a 9x6 apc I may put on there as well. Suggestions?
3) transport! The penguin is massive! It's a feat to get it in my car. Anyone have any transportation ideas for a penguin, thanks!
