Got about 25 flights on my penguin and have her all tuned up and flying great, decided to clean her up a bit while I wait for my DL firmware update.

Did a little touch up painting using Plast-Dip neon orange and black (works great and is super durable).

Added my 3rd failsafe, GPS Tracker to find my bird if something happens during a long range flight. I have RTH, DVR recording, and GPS Tracker.

I also lined the inside of my hero 2 case with aluminum tape that is grounded to cut down on any RF noise. Also every servo wire I use is braided and ran throughout the fuselage with servo wire clips (I can't stand the rat nest that end up happening in the fuselage), my vtx cable is shielded and grounded, and I place the VTX on the tail boom to keep away from other electronics.

Overall this is the best flying FPV plane i have ever flown, and I really am impressed with how stable the video is, when i review HD video after flight it looks like it is a still shot because it's so stable.

Ebay is where you will find blaze orange. It is really bright orange too, during the day it literally looks like its glowing its so bright. Highly recommended for flying.

well, I wanted a good all-rounder that can fpv, slope, thermal, and just putz around the local park. finally decided on one of these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=26992
1800mm wingspan, fiberglass fuse, built up wings, ailerons and a v-tail, may add flaps later. hoping to do some fpv lift hunting around the ridges above my house.

Heres my newest FPV rig... It is being completed now but this was the maiden. Just had to test before loading all the cameras and FPV gear.
Its getting a 1500mw 1280mhz VTX, DOSD, and a Pixim. Then a Sony AS10 and RD32II for HD recording.

Tested 706 Watts on 4S with 10x6 prop
Roughly 5.5lbs AUW (need a bigger scale)
