Heres my latest... Working on my prototype wings... so far for $10+electronics they are coming together great! 40" wing span, and 52" for the pink one.

Just have to skin them and they will be ready for everything! (dont mind the rocks taped to the front... needed to correct CG)

25km is a lot to ask for starting FPV... thats more than most seasoned FPV pilots fly. You will need to work on a long duration flight capability, proper power management, proper RF management, and then start getting into some sort of failsafe like RTH.

You really just need to search the forums for how to start in FPV.

He really needs to stop asking the same question over and over.

Dude, learn like the rest of us or wait 5-10 yrs until you can buy it off the shelf.
Once you can buy it off the shelf it will be be banned because of peeps like you that want to fly 50km away with no idea what the hell they are doing or respect for peoples safety.

Money alone cannot and will not buy you success in FPV, this stuff is hard for a reason... It keeps genuine enthusiasts in and people that should not play with this stuff out.

Rant over.

Never realised that fpv was so elitist.

FPV is extremely easy to fly compared to most other RC as you would prob already know.
It's the willingness to learn something new when it comes to video that's harder.
Nothing elitist about it really.

Here's my new Bix2 to replace my tattered skysurfer.

4S 3000 pack, Std HK motor
Eagle OSD with guardian and baro.
EzUHF Lite Rx with Rssi
Bob 800Vtx
Seems to be a great no fuss flyer with loads of flight time and range.

Chris.

G'day Labby,

The Std motor runs fine on 4s with a 7x5 prop it pulls about 17A at full noise.
Most flights are over 30mins and if I put a 3700 pack in I can squeeze an hour or so cruising around. Recently did 11km and back for only 1800mah total burn.

No huge mods.
wings glued permanently
2ft carbon rod glued inside wing tube spar to stiffen centre
extra 4x1mm blade spars near big cut outs in wing
tail strengthened as It need weight back there for bigger Lipo.
Plywood floor in nose to stiffen and support battery strap.
All up weight is 1170g and it flies really nice and even get good penetration in 20knts

Pic from FPV maiden at sunset.

Chris.
