Well done, very good craftmanship there!

Very cool design! What about a curved piece of clear plastic to protect the camera-nose pod? You could use a piece of packaging material. Maybe that would be a glare issue but worth testing?

AUW is about 34oz with a Gopro2 on and a 3000mah 3s battery, OSD, Dragonlink, and whatnot. I need to get a protective lens for my Gopro now.

this is pretty much exactly what im doing right now. i put carbon spars in the wings though. use rare earth magnets to hold your pod to the wings. that should work really well.

could you take some pics of the pod? yours looks really nice.

Looks like they are out of stock until the end of the month. I was lucky and my LHS had a few sets in stock for the same price. I'll post some better pics of the pod construction tomorrow when I'm in front of a computer.

looks good, but 50mph on 88 watt? Yeah, I don`t think so. Maybe in a 30 degree dive. Better check your numbers.

After a few more flights I'd say you are right. It's more like 11 amps. I know for fact I climbed to 3500 ft on Saturday at more than a 45deg angle running 18-19 amps the whole way. Also, after a few more mods she is more like 38oz. Not 34 anymore. Still flies great. Although she does wag a little (might be typical of wings with very little vertical surfaces). Might add some small Stryker like fins to see if that helps.

subsonic,

what kind of plane is that with the Pusher type-yellow Fuselage, Red Wings?
(looks like a very efficient fiberglass SkyWalker)?

Have you put any additional carbon strips? They will eliminate wagging.
I'm waiting to be back in stock
