Turbodriven

That is so cool. I just fpvd the first time ever on Saturday. I've been flying los 5 yrs. I flew fpv for the first time with a quadcopter I just built and had maybe 2 or 3 batts thru it. I'd never flown a heli before except for a sim. The adrenaline gets pumping! Now I can't wait to do it again. Thanks to an ejected battery pack and the resulting 100ft freefall, I'm waiting on props. Oh and I need a new Tupperware dome. Other than that no damage.

The tip I have is to keep it simple. Simple flight pattern. Simple setup. Simple success.

Oh crap! That must have been such a bad feeling, watching it fall all the distance with no way to stop the impending crash.

Sorry, dude!

Wow that was an interesting video! She was going FAST down, the OSD couldn't even get a grasp of it!

I want to see the crash site pics, how did all the electronics handle it?

Ouch. So what went wrong? I see your RSSI value switches between 0 and 100 all the time after the 19:00 mark, but since you can pan the camera you obviously have RC control. Or did you just dive the plane with throttle on purpose?

Looks like the whole wing fell of!! I hate to see a plane crash but at least you followed my moddow "if you are going to crash, make sure you get it on video" and you did awesome... Love the looking around while it was going down

Ha, I think I'm the only one who got this reference. Nicely done.

I think he was trying to control the plane into a more manageable crashing
angle, e.g. not a 90 degree meteorite-like impact .

IV always tested my aircraft to make sure they can handle a 100% throttle dive. Iv seen many of my prototypes experience this and explode, raining down foam, tape, electronics, and my test LiPo's all over the field. ( have seperate electronics for these tests so its cheaper to replace
