BTW, this might be old news (new news to me). BananaHobby now sells the 50mm EDFs with 2 axis gyro systems. Anyone try one yet? I'm interested in getting a new F-18 airframe and the gyro might be fun.

Gyro Stabalization ? Check out the Bluelight. I know the CEO from a LinkedIn group- Mark Massel. Ex British Aerospace Engr living in Thailand. My boss just got one and I saw the package. Awesome. Comes with a CD-Rom, programmable settings, supportssall transmitters, all cables included, full documentation. The good news is it's about $55.00 Arrived from Thailand in about one week.

Apologies...if you can read my final post over there, it is probably best to combine threads and just let everyone focus on one central place for related info.

Good luck guys and enjoy the hobby! (if you can even see what I type?!)

Bajora: What the moderators are doing is not right, You've provided a lot of useful information and tips to all the fellow flyers around, you shouldn't be the one getting the boot. Still readable just need to click the show post button.

Has anyone have problem flying inverted with their F-22? Whenever I try it, the F-22 doesn't seem to create enough lift and starts to sink down even at WOT (1:1 t/w). My CG is around 50mm from leading edge

No prob with going inverted with the F-22. In fact, I think the F-22 and F-16 are the easiest to fly inverted. My CG is around 55mm.
It easily cruises inverted

no gyro in this video.

Perhaps try move your CG aft?

Nice pics and video Al.

We had so much fun flying that thing, I forgot to radar the stock, flat and level, upwind/downwind speed. Oh well, I'll probalby get a Wemo/HET setup in it before that happens, but not until the Katana flies.
Nice thing about these is that I can just run over to the local park. I may have to rig up a hat cam, so I can just doppler it.
The F-16 showed up on last Saturday. That should be a fun one.

I don't post very often in this thread, but I follow it closely, and have gotten a ton of good info from it. It would be a shame to lose these important contributors.

Cheese,
I don't know if this applies to you but when I first got my 50mm I had issues with setting up elevon setup on my DXi6. I only had 50% throw.
I had to set Mix 1 Elev->Flap 100% to get full throw. By the way I have the right servo on Ail and the left on Aux. (I got this info from youtube).

The F-16 is a fast little airframe! Mine is over a year old and looks pretty bad...But it still draws a crowd!! It does about 96mph with no wind and even faster with a tail wind. So it always gets attention!! The same motor set up in the Katana or Screamer could make them even faster! Can't wait to see what you can do with the Katana!
