i have been using nanotech 3s 1300 45c packs with my wemo/6k setup.
they have been holding up ok so far. keep in mind though i have only been doing short burst of WOT passes as it is installed in a SCREAMER and it covers ground very quickly.

Got the T-45 today. Arrived in good shape and pretty quickly, from China.
It's sure a cute lil' bugger.

Guess I'll put it together tomorrow, going flying today.

Was just concerned about the room for the pack.
I know some people use 4S pack but it sounded like they had to shoehorn them in.
I thought any 3S pack would have more room and therefor bit larger mAh batteries.

well lets start by saying that i fly my jets like jets , i dont dally around on the edge of stall trying to see how long of a flight i can get.

so..... that being said , i have yet to find a 1300 that will put up w/ the kind of current needed to run that setup . i have come to the conclusion that 20 c continuous is all u can expect out of 40c rated batteries. and even that is pushing it on these smaller batteries .

so ... u can fly like an old lady, cook some batteries, or go up in battery size . i have used 1600's but wfo must still be used in burst only.

as don recommends , an 1800 or larger is whats needed. yrmv

I had good luck with an 1800 maH 40C lipo fitting in many of the battery trays for the Wemo 6000 kV setup, certainly well within the discharge rating of the lipo.

I have some new batteries showing up form China Hobby.... I have used the 3s 40c 1600mah and they are perfect thus far! Have some 4s 40c 1800's and 1000's showing too. I am sure they will be just as good. Gotta have at least 20-30 cycles before I say good or bad though....But the first couple cycles have been great!!

can anyone please help me to choice the best batteries for the this three EDF jet,
I want a setup that good for CG , just to make it fly and not for speed,
please give mAh and c battery for 3s or 4s

I have the stock T-45, stock F-16 and new Katana with the Don's 4800kv setup.

All I can say is that you fit just about anything in the T-45 whereas the compartment space in the f-16 is pretty tight. Went with Hyperian G3 on that one. The 4800kv Katana requires 4S. 30C discharge is nice. Even with more milliamps, the flight times are going to be in the 4min max range.

+1 - don't forget to put the lipo in the rear of the cockpit area, then you'll be fine with 3 cells 850mA to 1000mA

I just ordered a red arrow arf from toysonics $60 shipped..just needs esc and 3 servos to complete which i have plenty of...It shows landing gear in pictures i did'nt think these 50mm edf's had gear...anyone here know if gear comes with or not? thx
