Think if I prop up to 8x47 should be well under 10amps

So what you are saying, this motor is not a good choice for the plane? The ony reason I was asking is I have one already. if its not a match, will go with the Hacker/ or HK since I have several of them.

Not trying to start a motrolfy vs hacker debate

I suggest building and trying the kit and first, before condemning the hardware. Heck, we haven't even seen it yet, except in photos!

Well said !! I've seen it.....held it, FLOWN iT....and examined the motor mount system and I'm impressed ! Oh, and I've built many...many scratchbuilt 3D foamies, so I have a 'fairly' good idea of what works...and what will nOt !
Also gotta give kudos to everyone invloved in the servo arm designs !!! For those unsure 'bout the motor choice...all I can say is HACKER (and I also am nOt trying to start a motor war ! ).

I've only flown my Epp foamies with the Normal HK gear.
I ordered 2 of these Extras with the Hacker, (Gooder Stuff), gear and hope to be able to give a big, Thumbs Up for it.

Guys,

We're at a fly in this weekend. As such, we're not able to follow threads. I'm glad for all of the interest in our new line of foam aircraft...and I'll be glad to answer any questions as soon as we get home and caught up. We shot footage for product video this weekend and we'll also be posting the assembly video soon.

I noticed some mild fighting in this thread, and IMO it's not worth fighting over EPP foamies. We'll take care of our customers and work to ensure their satisfaction, and anyone who wants to design and build foamies their way should do so, more power to them.

I'm about to order the Motrofly 2203-1600 motor and Motrofly 8amp ESC to go along with it for this plane. Will I need anything else to go along with the motor besides a GWS prop? I'm assuming it uses one of the prop saver style mounts. Does the rubber band to mount the prop come with it? (sorry for the noob questions, but this is my first small foamy).

Fully understand that lasso, my fly-in trips are limited also and the TINY is on my must-go list. I hope you can make it, guaranteed good time. Rich is planning on going too, maybe we can talk Mr. and Mrs Thorn into coming also!
