Vapor trouble
Hey guys. I'm haveing a bit of trouble with my vapor. This weekend at the gym I was flying and I somehow without even crashing, demolished the thing. First the weels just fell clean off, and then the prop shaft snapped, AND I DIDN'T EVEN TOUTCH THE GROUND!
 So I was wondering, would it be better to just get the replacement parts, or just get the new night vapor? And How do i glue the weels back on? Please help. Brody |

Didn't touch the GROUND.. How about the WALLS? Heh-heh. You can buy a new prop shaft for a couple bucks. New wheels are like, six. I don't know the shape your 'fallen off' landing gear might be in, but if it's still a once-piece unit you should be able to re-attach it with CA glue.

well i've tried ca and sadly it didn't do any good. It worked until i put it down on a table. Any glue's that will bond to that type of plastic.

a little glue to hold it in place and then wrap in thread and ca the thread to make it stronger than it was before

If your landing gear broke at the plastic mount that attaches to the frame like mine did you can use a thin spring steel wire and bend it to match the mount and then wrap it in thread and soak it with CA. That wire will make it tough as hell and probably never break again.

new airframe
Uhu works great on plastic. So does Plumber's Goop. If all else fails you can buy a new airframe complete from Horizon for 50 bucks.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=PKZ3370 Of course, a whole new Night Vapor is only 100 bucks, but the old Vapor is lighter and just a bit different than the newer Night. They had the original Vapor at amainhobbies.com until just recently. Maybe if you call them they might be have one. |

I've heard that the night vapor is easier to replace parts with. Is that true?

Tings be modular on the Night Vapor, but ye gets 4 more grams o weight as a trade off. |
