Hey F3F Fans,

Coming up on Sunday Dec. 12th at Pt Fermin is this years Polar Bear event!! This year if weather permitting we will have the course set up, and will be running the course and racing for fun as this is not a point race event. This is a good time to come out and get some practice in, or get that new plane tweaked to perfection for next years racing season.

We will also be having our annual used plane and gear garage sale. Those that have planes and or flying gear that they would like to sale bring it on out and those interested in getting a good deal on used planes and gear bring some $$$$!! In years past there have been some good deals at these events. So come on out and enjoy the day, flying, looking at, talking, buying and selling, planes and gear. This has been a great year and a good time for us all to get together for one more fun race before the New Year. This is a free event, just bring cash if you our looking to buy.

I will be the CD for this event and looking forward to flying and hanging out with all my race friends.

Sign ups are here in this thread, so please state your intentions to come out and fly. Also if you have planes or gear to sell, let us know here as well.

Well I was going to wait to see what the weather was going to be like. Since this will also be a swap meet event as well, how about we set the time at 11:00am. That will give our San Diego guys time to get there. I will have the course set up and we can have an pilots meeting at 11:30am and flying as weather permits.

It looks like the weather will be warm for Sunday the wind direction has been good but on the light side the last couple of days. It appears it will stay that way through the weekend. I will give a weather update on Sat. morning. Since this event is also a swap meet, we will continue with the event even if flying conditions do not appear to be the best. So come on out and enjoy the afternoon and check out what people have brought to sell, and hopefully we will get in some flying as well.

The weather looked flyable yesterday between 12:00 and 2:00 W @ 10-14mph, still a little light so far this morning. Will keep an eye on it. I have the race gear and a couple of planes to sell. See you all tomorrow.
