I'm also debating the EC-120 EuroCopter since I got the e-mail about my FXD being out of stock. Other than it "appears" to be a great deal for what you get with this package, does anyone know much about this exact heli?

I don't think there's any feedback here in this forum on the Colco EC-120, that I know of anyway. We might be the first to review it here.

Here's a YouTube video on it except that the one shown there uses a 2.4 ghz radio.

At least the soundtrack was appropriate for a EuroCopter, but that video didn't inspire much confidence by itself. I'm sure it's capable of much better manuevering, if the open space and a more daring pilot was available.
I'll still be debating it for a little while. Let me know if you spot any more info. When will you guys get delivery on this one?

Well that's is probably how I will be flying it, considering my inexperience with 4 channel, and the fact that I'm a bit "chicken" to begin with!

But yea, I'm certain that in the hands of a good pilot, and some open space, this heli should perform well. Colco doesn't put out bad stuff from what I've read, and seems to be underrated with most of the attention going to companies like Walkera, eSky, and Exceed. They've got the bigger advertising budgets I guess.

Of the 4 purchases I made from XHeli on Black Friday, this one actually excites me the most. I mean, I will enjoy all of them. But the great price, the scale body, and the fact that it will be my first 4 channel bird, really "does it" for me.

I looked all over the net and could find very little about it.
Its listed as a 2009 model so i would expect to see more about it.
