Wow, certainly some seriously well done conversions and scratch builds. Thanks again John. Sure was fun.
I finally captured the SE5 on Video. After another repair I think the weight crept up and the CG slid back a bit. But it flies. I am going to upgrade the power system, and add some more details in the future. But for now this is all I got. I learned a bunch and had a great time. Thanks again

Hello All:
Congrats to all on the funbuild 3. There were several outstanding projects. It was fun to watch the entries unfold. Big congrats to Bill and Glenn on your victories. Thanks to Jfrost for organizing and making this a fun contest once again. Alex P.S. I am sorry I never completed let alone started my Hannover project for FB 3. I had every intention of doing so, but I have had a number of issues and set backs this year that got in the way of my free time. I hope to start it soon if not/ get something ready for FB 4. |

Thanks for voting for my model guys!
![]() I really appreciate your support. I had second thoughts about building this one thinking a Stuka might not be a popular subject. It turned out to be a nice flying little model despite the concerns it would be underpowered. Last Sunday was doing simulated bombing dives and even tossed in a couple of loops. Still haven't tried a roll, yet... Thanks again John for putting on another fun build and I'm looking forward to the next one. Have to start gathering supplies soon, before you know it it'll be time to start the next one.... Glenn |

Congrats Glenn.
I thought this was also one of the lovely builds of the contest. The 36" Aeronca C3 from a Sterling Kit by crawlspace. I was just looking through FM which just came in the mail today. This picture below looked very familiar, so I looked it up here and it is the same model. Pat Tritle has it featured in his column: |

I'd like to offer my congrats to all you guys who took the time to do this build and especially to those of you who used my kits. Its really something to see when everything comes together. I'm amazed at the level of craftmanship that you guys put into these and I can honestly tell you, I really appreciate your efforts. Well done Gentlemen!!
