this is my latest project, a Ju 87 G Stuka.

I drew up plans in CAD first, then hotwire-cut every section.

It's gonna be made from EPP foam ultimately; but since that stuff is crazy expensive, I made a prototype from styrofoam, first.

1/15 scale

wingspan 38 inches/ 96 cm
length 26 inches/ 70 cm
AUW 10 ounces/ 280 grams

This one will be winter camo (i.e. not be painted), however I made some panel lines and it will have some markings as well.

Maidened it this morning, cog needed to be moved forward a little and the landing gear will have to be reinforced on the EPP version.

I'm using a Pichler Nano 1300V 23gram (.8 ounces) with a 9 inch three blade prop. Thrust on that setup has got to be well over 10 ounces, since I can ca vertikal.

I have enough to build a Ultimate Bipe I have been wanting to build and possibly enough left over to build this Junkers model

Ok guys, I`ve been working on getting the Stuka CAD files right.

I've decided to scale it up to 51'' 1300mm wingspan.

Here's why: the longer I was looking at it, the smaller it seemed.

Secondly, the Stuka is such a skinny airplane

And most importantly: because I can!

51'' is the absolute maximum size for transporting it in my car....lol

I started with the new canopy from epp, used my dremel to make it look 3dimensional.

I will definitely be watching this build
any chance of getting a copy of plans?

Sure, they're not done yet, though.

I'm kinda drawing along as I build, since I have to make some changes to the plans of the prototype.

However, I don't know if they'll do you any good, since I'm hotwiring sections in between formers for this build.
