you can't embed a video of exposure room in rcgroups, as far as i know, just vimeo and youtube are the ones allowed

looks like there is a delay in the pan/tilt movement when moving the goggles, thats normal? dont looks 100% real time like when moving the stick of the radio

Pretty cool video! What are the parameters that specify to return the camera back to center? In other words, is there a certain central viewing angle where the servos are commanded back to center? Oh also, do you have to face a certain direction when flying? Some earlier versions of magnetometer headtrackers required you to face in a certain direction because they used 1 or 2 axis magnetometers. Is that the case here or are you guys using more advanced sensors (3 axis magnetometer)?

wallaguest: That's pretty fast movement of the goggles. Way faster than anything you would be doing during a flight. There could be a slight delay, but my guess is the servos are not fast enough to keep up.

I think youtube is blocked in china, perhaps he could send us the video as an attachment and repost it from somewhere less restrictive? Can you post video through a proxy?

hi, that's because the servo speed is not fast enough, nobody's head moves that fast ,

Hey Glassfox,

This may sound funny but what is the green wire in the trainer plug from the AIO goggles for?

I cut the Futaba plug off and have set it up so its working with my turnigy 9x but Im not using that wire. Is it important?

Regards

Doug

Have any pics of how you wired this to your Turnigy 9x?

The green wire is an IN information for the HT. To answer your question, no it's not important on the T9x

Guizmo12, Yeah that's pretty much what I worked out by having a closer look at a futaba trainer plug.

fireslayer26, I just cut off the trainer plug, put a servo connector on it and put the mating servo connector end into the TX as illustrated in this thread,

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1244359&page=2

however at the moment Im suffering bad issues with the TX going into failsafe and doing weird stuff so I wouldn't recommend doing this. I believe It draws too much power from the circuit board. I'm working on it.

What do you think of my goggle mod.

Regards

Doug
