I read this posted on the hobbypartz thread.

I think I may have flown that plane. You aren't in Orlando, are you?

Sorry, I missed this.
I'm running the sl 40c6s3300 packs.
They come in at 532g on all 4 that I own.

It's a good thing when the retailer post reasonably accurate weights. Nitroplanes posted 544g almost 2 years ago.

I maidened it today. Wind and all it flew great. Best plane I've flown yet. I did two 3 minute flights on same billowy power 6s 3300 and still had 67% left. I'd fly more but too windy for my taste. I've been through 2 pa planes (addy and katana md), HK dominatrix, EF MXS and currently a 51" 3dhs slick. This is by far the best for my style. First run I did a rolling harrier for a few seconds. I've never even come close on any other balsa. This will keep me busy for a while. Best used purchase I've made on RCG.

Oh I'm running an exceed 4120-460 16x8 prop and solar servos.

This is my next airframe, but I dont see very many come up on RCGroups for sale.

A friend of mine let me fly his when I owned a 3DHS 58" Edge. No comparison. Sold the 3DHS airframe and purchased the EF Extra which I now fly.

If anyone has a NIB Blue/Yellow they want to unload for another project in the coming year, please let me know. Thanks!

Got mine back in the air today for the first time in over two months. I'm testing out some new equipment to see if I'll like it in my new 60" MXS, and I do like it in my Edge. I'm also using an Exceed Rocket 4120-660 on 4s with a 15x8 prop and it's just awesome. I think I'll have to try a 16" prop on it. I too am using Solar servo's. I had been using the D658's all around but on the rebuild I'm using a D770 on the elevator and holy buckets is this thing strong, I like it so much I think I may put one on the rudder as well. Nice to have my Edge back in the air again.

I got some 770's but put in the 658's due to fit. My kv is 465 not 460. Lots of power

I was running all D658's before on the one I crashed but wanted more oomph on the elevator on this one as a test bed for my new MXS when it gets here. I had no problem with the D658's but man this D770 is sooo much better both speed and power wise and the extra weight is no problem at all. I think I'm going to put the D770's on both elevator and rudder on the MXS they are so much stronger and faster, but I'll stick with the D658's on ailerons to keep weight down a little and they are more than up to the task.
