sooo...i guess i can oficially subscribe here! rwb edge, fresh epoxy and fresh thin ca and a bunch of servo extensions ordered!

only problem is batteries... i want bigger than 3300 so im trying 3600 hayin, but they tell me that even 1 pack is too heavy to ship... gens aces is out of stock, sky has either 3300 either 4000.... and as much as i couldnt tell anything bad about 4s 4000 nanotech, i dont want them...

Rimaarts, do you have 2650 4s batts, by chance? I built my plane based on an 8s solution, so I can use the same packs in my 48" airframes as my 60" airframes...

PM me if you are interested in how I did it. It has ridiculous power and acceleration.

yea, i have them from my slick, and yes, if memory serves me right, you have 200-something kv 4315 motrofly wich would be ok, if i already would not have torque v2 and airboss 80.... and if i would live in USA to get motrofly in under 1 month!

one more thing made me wonder... if servo plug can take only 3A, than why when using separate battery we are using only 1 servo plug? (i will be using 9channel spectrum receiver) would i be better off y-ing battery to receiver?

he... i couldnt choose between rwb and b/y edge... and turns out rwb is out of stock, so i got blue-yellow one!

The servo plug will take more than 3 amps ... I use one to charge A123 batts with a Cell Pro 4S charger at 4 amps. It gets pretty warm, but that's 4 amps steady for 10 minutes ... no way you are holding that while flying.

I understand about the motor and ESC- it is a great combo. I wish you well in the Battery search! How about Hyperion batts- aren't they German?

How about Hyperion batts: http://hyperion-world.com/products/p...-LG345-3300-6S

or Haiyin: http://www.haiyinstore.com/compares.asp?PID=216+

I've used the Haiyin products for about a year and love them.

The Haiyins look great... The only reason I don't own any is the slower charge C rating.
