use plenty of glue on your elevator servo horn kids.
Ouch! Sorry for your loss.

I'll add that along with plenty of glue, make sure to scuff the shiny off the G10 with 180 grit or less sandpaper as well.
I generally apply epoxy to the inside of the slot on both sides with a toothpick, then to both sides of the scuffed G10 and install.

Yeaaa def epoxy next time never had a problem before, actually ripped piece of the elevator out with the horn, I did a pretty violent blender to a pretty fast parachute but the chute didn't deploy haha my esc got destroyed and I haven't loosened the nose cone plate and motor shaft to see if that hopefully still spins, but servos are fine, I'm lucky it didn't catch on fire cause my pack was taco'd

You can use sticky back covering and apply as described above and skip the heating steps
Thank you so much!!

Sorry to see that Wagner. Not good. Parachute fail to the max.

On a positive note, I managed to maiden my Edge. Absolutely love it. Need to move the CG back a bit but wow, this thing is awesome. Tracks so well, and floats like a dream. Snaps are great and the roll rate is insane. As is the 6S setup. Can't wait to get it dialed. Here are some pics. I'll post a couple of mins from the maiden too.
Complements my 88" Extra perfectly too.

There may be a better thread for this...But I'll go ahead an put it here.

Curtis Cozier, thanks so much for everything! Me and my boy had a blast at Nall, would of had fun anyway, but you and Jim both made it even better if that's possible. I'm horse, he's not. Guess that is what being young will do for you. I can not wait to get my 60" 540T finished now, your customer service and attitude toward the hobby is outstanding and makes me want to fly it even more.

A big 'ol Whoooooooooo! from both of us.

Guys,
I'm ready to order lipo's for my blue/yellow edge and am undecided on sizing.

I'm running the Motrolfly 4315-480 on 6s and tossing between 6s3000 and 6s3300.

I read that some guys are having cg issues with the 6s3300 in that the plane comes out nose heavy and the lipo all the way back to the wing tube.

I was planning on running either vox/Xoar 15x8 or 16x7 wood props on mine.

I have the 3000's and wish I would have gotten a heavier pack. Ive flown it with a 6S 4500 and it flew fine. If I could reorder batteries, I would get between a 3500 and a 3800. Most guys seem thrilled with the 3300's.
