Sweet maiden.. IRG flew mine, and he was blown away.. The inverted flat spins are so tight, and inverted harrier is rock solid!

I cant wait untill saturday.. Im taking the day off and driving to the Delaware, 3D throw down at HORTON's club..Get to show off the EDGE..

What do you guys think of running a 5S 5000 packs? Clearly a heavier pack than what most are using, but do you think its a deal killer? For those of you flying them already, where are you running your packs in the tray? Wonder if it would balance with a 5S 5000. Thanks.

I will be flying mainly 2600 6 cells and 4 3300 cells I don't want to kill the performance of this bird.

chris h said before that you can run as large as a 6s5000, but when you get to the heavier packs it turns into a sport plane rather than a 3D animal

agreed. i did the math. a 4S setup would be 4S 4000.
4 x 4000 = 16000 total mah
divide by 6 (cells) thats gives you 2666 mah per cell on 6S
so in theory the 6S 2666 would give you the same flight times as the 4S setup. so the larger 6S setups are simply adding weight (and more flight time)

i was thinking about shooting for 6S 3000 would be a great lightweight setup with 7 minute flights still.

with the higher cell count i really pay attention to mah and its added weight, because each heavier cell is multiplied by 6 and that adds up. especially wiht the high C rating cells, because the higher the C the heavier the cell as well given the same Mah

I love the wow factors and when you start using heavier packs... I rather use my clapper!
