I'm not sure I would do anything different. I could have turned the wheels out and been more real with the wheel covers but I'm happy with this look.

Thanks Magic,

I used the 1300 kv motor from Hobby King. The 1500 kv may work also but I like the 8X4 prop look.

Motor or something similar....

ESC or something similar....

Battery or something similar....

I used 5gm servos for the elevators and a 9gm for the rudder/tailwheel....

9gm http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...?idProduct=662

Thanks for the comments.

Hey Dalton!
That guy is really cool man!
Definitely one to add to my list. So is that elevons on the tail? Er, tailerons? I am taking care of both kids atm so I didn't really have time to read through your pics incase you already mentioned that. I just went straight to the vid.

Everybody loves the Corsair. Ought to get lots of interest I would suppose.

Great to see another beauty from ya Brother!

Thanks Jimmy,

You're the one that got me onto these type of planes. So I'll give you credit for this. What I love about these is that you can fly them in a close area.

This set up was a challenge for me and my pilot skills. Fly's great but a RET set up on this one may have been better for me.

My wife has been away to Reno this week and coming home tonight. No church this morning. I've got to much to do for her return.

How are the little ones doing? Growing fast?

Thanks for the kind comments.
God Bless you brother.

Ah, I'll just go to church for the both of us.

Getting the fam ready to go ourselves here shortly.
Kids are doing great. Noah has more than doubled in weight. He did wake up at 4 am for bottle but decided he would take 2 hours to go back down so the eye lids are heavy atm. You know how it goes.

Otherwise he is great, just not into sleeping much yet, and 3yr old Bailey is loving life. Just last night we moved all her furniture into his room and she got new big girl bed and furniture.

It's like a holiday for her.

Your Corsair is great. Fat & Toonish always adds a fun element.
Right away I figured I would make him RET too. Just make him a bit easier on the fingers to manuver for RET folks like us.

God Bless
Jimmy

Fat & Toonish, hum Maybe the "F 4u Corsair D" could stand for "Fattie 4u (for you) Corsair Dart"

Thanks for the plans Dalton... going on my long build list, but will be shoved up towards the front.

Nice job on the plans... guess you aren't in need of my help any more in that respect.

Been putting off a corsair because I heard they were hard to fly, but this one should fly more friendly. Looks great too.
