If you switch the LG with the Corsair (2" wheels) and rake them forward of the leading edge of the wing it lands very nice and smooth...
I also added wheel pants from a greatplanes Shoestring ...Now a very slick looking Reno Racer...!! I'll post some pictures soon...!!

The HellCat is in stock ,so some of you guy's in warm climate's get one ,fly it ,and post a video and flight test ...I got mine ordered but it's to wet ,cold and a foot of snow on the deck to fly for at least two more months

Super Scale Cheap!

I just got in from flying my least expensive plane the TH P-51 RxR. This plane is absolutely awesome and I have a lot of expensive top of the line stuff. The scale modeling on this plane is better than my high $ Hanger9 Mustang. I fly this one, I've had 3, with no gear and belly land it with great results. I have it detailed out to the 9's and also weathered. I have 3 in boxes just so I'll always have one. Like my last, if I fly this one in and modify with a new motor, this one will go 150mph, I promise. Happy ZEEZEE

The APC 9x7.5 prop is highly recommended with the stock motor. Is this the E prop or slow flyer?

If the amp draw for these props is known, please let us know.

My TH F6F Hellcat flies great and with the same stock motor as the Mustang and the stock for Hellcat 1060x3 prop it pulls 27 amps and 326 watts.

Some data I saw in this thread showed lower amp/watts than this motor is capable of sustaining.

I've lost my stock prop numbers. On my plane, I'm running a Master Air Screw 106. It draws 20A. The APC 97.5 draws 22A.

This is my 3rd Mustang from Tower and when I needed to store it on the bartop I temp put the gear on and noticed that they were bent out where the wheel was in front of the leading edge like my old mods. Looks like they read these threads! Also looks like the wire is SS, better tire material also. As y'all know I love this thing! I don't fly with gear anymore. And I love it stock! I remember getting back in the hobby 4 years ago as a foam hater, no more! My fleet is 50/50. And I may be on the 51% side of the foam liker line. Dave/ZEEZEE This pic has been posted many times but I love it..P-51 from TH #1.....

Is it the SF-slow flyer or E-electric version.

MAS 10x6E will perform magnificently!

It's a great value. The others in the series seem to be great too, though I haven't flown them personally.

GBLynden, the TH Mustang is the hardest to fly of the three. The easiest flier in their lineup is the TH F4U, followed closely by the F6F Hellcat.

I must agree. I have not completely dialed in my Mustang (stock, w/APC 9X 7.5 prop), but I do have my F6F Hellcat dialed in and it flies more nimbly at slower speeds. The Mustang is like a shark looking to devour a German war bird.

Such a great hobby...these reduced scale aircraft fly much like their full scale counterparts.
