I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread of just maps to flying locations. I would really like to have only 2 posts here. The only way I can see how to do the 2nd option is to have people PM me there links and I will edit the post. That way a person won't have to search the whole thread to find if a location exists or not. Please PM me with suggestions, links. Thanks

Barnes Park (west location) Davis County, 200 N Exit 328 in Kaysville:
Features North South paved parking lot for geared planes. There is a house just to the south of it and businesses to the north , so for that reason above all, I suggest electric only. Park style planes since the runway is not that long. The grass is wide open though. You will have to compete with the children during various seasons.

Barnes Park (east location) Davis County, 200 N Exit 328 in Kaysville:
All we usually fly here is small park flyers like slowsticks. This is our primary night flying location. We have done combat here, but not really a whole lot of room for that. Making hits over the middle of the field is a must, due to the close proximity of houses, trees, people, fences, traffic etc...

Davis County, exit 334, Weber State Davis Campus:
The facility to look for is the Fairfield LDS Church.
Enter the parking lot and go to the far east end. There is a large runway there. Light poles are you obstacles. The University allows us to fly there with the assumption that we have AMA. There is housing to the south, please dont fly over them. The grass is usually not conducive to geared planes but with enough snow, will do fine with ski planes. Large field for combating and other ruckus activities.

There are club dues but everyone with current AMA is welcome to come fly at our events. Sorry if this thread was intended to be free sites only. This thread seems like a good idea. I'm glad to find out about some of these sites. I hope to get out to some of them sometime.

And sometimes, it's cold enough up here to be compared to Canada but we don't use sled dogs to get to field anymore.
