Here is my 2nd Victor Rocket, took this one all apart and did the crock-pot treatment. Although used there is absolutely no sign of wear inside this engine at all.
These are great little engines with snappy compression.

Another finally dribbled in, customs are molesting my engines
An American made GHQ, a 45 I believe. Made in New York late 40's and never been fueled or mounted.
I have heard rumors that these engines did not run well but they will make a nice display and conversation piece.

So, customs finally let it through. Did they open the package? Looks like it's mint!

Maybe one of em' tried to run a GHQ in his youth and was deciding whether to let it in country or not..y'know, saving a fellow countryman the frustration of actually trying to RUN it..

Brat

Another treasure trickled in today, a Brat 37 hex. Prop, spinner, skid, coil and condensor all original. Looks as though the engine has never been run or skid mounted in an airframe.
I really like this engine......the metal parts including the spinner have a slight gold tinge to them. Would someone know how this is done?

Very Very Nice Bill. It is listed on MECOA's site as beeing manufactured by Keener in 1937 as a .138. That is the first one I have ever seen. You just can't have to many old engines. LOL

It's a beauty Jim, very happy with it. Lots of motors out there but finding them complete in this condition is a challenge. Lots of fun though
I have a few others coming and will do the show&tell thing again when they arrive.

A nice conversation piece (and a piece of history!)

This SAITO G6O from late 70's is both the first fuel engine made by SAITO (and the only 2 stroke of the brand) and maybe the last engine conceived for coil ignition "mass" produced !

It's a superbly and sturdy made engine, it looks to be rather a .90 range than a .60, see the HP Silver Star .60 of the same era on the last pic.

Latest engine, another D model Brown installed in the Rambler rebuild project.

A bit to go on the wing yet with sanding off old covering and fixing original builders mistakes. Project is in my winter quarters, shop is too cold to work in.
