Yeah, my wife likes to try and fish and she did great, the only woman in the video!

That is the thing about a place like that! You don't even need to be good to catch 20-30" salmon and 20" Rainbows!

Alaska is amazing for all wildlife!

I have 2 more that I am finishing up.

The HF Gimbal performed great, even in the rain!

More work on my RX100 Quadcopter mount. I'm having roll servo jitter issues but I'm getting there.
I ran out of light last night... so off I went to the shopping centre for a fly (and to add a few UFO sightings).

I have designed amd built my own gimbal from 3mm plywood. 30 of 18mm square pine, 3mm ply + 3mm bolts. It has bearings on the pivots and both the tilt and roll have external pots.

The photos are from before I modified the servos and put in reduction belts and gears.

I have done a new design that is on the Quadcopter - and was used on the night video. Belt reduction on tilt and roll. Still testing but it is looking good. I have had a real trial over roll servo jitter but I am nearly there (I hope).

it was are first attempt at something this scale.

The HoverFly Gimbal was used on the main rig with Askman and Gary's AG700 prototype gimbal and on my backup rig that was flown was a HoverFly Pro Flight Controller and AG 500 gimbal.

Cameras were Sony Nex-5n, PJ710v
THAT LOOKS COLD! But great shots man, very smooth stuff!
