Hi Chris..How goes with you..

So set for 70mm as per manual...

40mm/4mm foldingprop spinner
9x5 CAM Carbon propeller

I hope i´ll be satisfied....also got a 10x6 prop...but i didn´t like that it will be too much 4 the motor....but if i only use it 4 like 5-10 seconds to climb it might work right?

Hello!

Yes i`m pretty pleaced myself

hmmmm.....yes as the manual, there were "spots" on each wing that marked CoG...

i had to mix in dive to throttle, mine almoast made a looping when i aplied fukll throttle....and it banked hard to the right aswell....so i pointed the engine down and left (orginal engine)

ill place the new motor straight and add moore down and mix in a little left...

My Radian, which is very similar to the Phoenix, has a very noticeable amount of down and left bias built into the motor mount. That is preferable to correcting it with elevator and rudder trim because the latter causes increased drag.

are you using the flaps as airbrake instead of flaps?

is it ok to only use 2 screws to fit the motor?...or do i have to use 4...?

did you install your motor straight or directed some were?

Same question as Andreas. Why are your flaps deflecting upward?

I'd use 4 scew's for the motor....
Motor is as straight as I could get it , with the new Fiberglass firewall..

Never used Flaps before... So this is totaly new to me...
The Flaps are connected to the landing gear plug on my AR500 Rx
using the landing gear switch on my DX5e Tx...

Could only get them to rise up ...wire in the right way..

Why are they ment to come down....

Flaps always deflect down. The idea of flaps is to increase drag to slow the plane down while also increasing lift to lower the stall speed. If your radio has a Flap channel use that instead of the Gear channel. If not you can turn the flap servos around, or buy a servo reversing module.

Can I not just turn the plug around and reverse the polarity...

Why not just reverse the gear channel?
