Hi Roger,

It will be fine. I used epoxy 3 years ago (no bamboo sticks or toothpicks) for the same repair and it's still fine.

Well drat I had a pithy response to RTR's post and tried to one up him with a photo of my little resident buck. It didn't load for some reason. Hummmm it could be that it's been a long time since I have used this group.
Naww I'm infalible. LOL
I'll try again.

As you can see I'm still taking nourishment and spreading hate and discontent!
Howdy to all the "old" timers on the thread. I hope everyone has a Great Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
I see my photo album thread is still being used that's what it's here for. Show the new bees how to post there.

Oh my, broadside and ya let him walk  I know a lady up that used to think deer were cute, then they ate about $2000 of her flowers. I'm heading over there this a.m. Deer aren't safe and they are not pets.

I suggest epoxy over GG. The reason I say this is I am afraid the GG might foam up and get into places it shouldnt be. AKA gearbox, shaft, ect.
But its up to you mate

Thanks for the responses. The break is well aft of the firewall, and I've got a SuperTigre .10 on one of those aluminum mounts, so everything that rotates is quite a ways away. I'm going to try the Gorilla glue option. More gory details later if needed.

Just got down off the roof from hanging Christmas lights. I'm not a big fan of heights! My knees are still shaking. I think I had a near death experience up there. The wife owes me BIG TIME!
