Even with stock motor and 10/8 when i crank hard turns im amazed the foam wing dont stap like a twig.

Well mine without reinforcement did remember

My new flat wing has a 6mm wooden dowel (Flexy but it wont snap) inserted along 75% of the wing and a whole s&%tload of 5 minute epoxy to hold it in place, plus 2 or 3 layers of packaging tape. If this wing Fails well then Im outta ideas!

I am sort of worried the wing wont generate enough lift at the moment, and am hoping the 9.5x6.5 prop will give it enough lift and speed. Oh well Ill have to wait and see, still waiting on this motor mount. Till that arrives no test flights no nothing!

Tubes are stronger than a rod, if I am correct? Just go with a tube for this size of plane.
And thats what struts are for

How do you determine the best thickness tube? Like 1/3 the wing thickness for example?

Eh. More or less determine your flying style, and ability of the plane to put on the wing. (force)
Then guess what size, hahaha

How do TGS props compare with APC, EMP, and GWS?

Anyone screw around with all of them? What about balancing?
