Set it to where you get an email notice from HK when they come in. (Although even that doesnt guarantee you'll get one even then.) If I were you, I'd order it now. They dont charge you till it ships.

What I like about it better than eflites is ..(besides that it costs only half as much), is that all the info stays on the same screen. The eflite makes ya flip thru screens. Not fun when the prop is turning. Its also small enuff to where it will fit in the electronics bay of the cub. You can leave it in there for the duration of the flight, then when you land, it will show you the peaks. I found that I dont push it near as hard in the air as I do on the bench, giving me a liiiitle more flexibility in prop selection.HTH

Nav.
Thanks Nav, I don't like ordering anything that's on back order especially from HK. I've heard too many horror stories and I just don't trust them.

Just dont mix something that is available now, with something on back order.
HK warns people not to do this, yet they turn right around and do it anyway, then whine like a 9 year old split-tail when their stuff doesnt come.
Like I said they dont charge till it ships, so ya got nothin ta lose by ordering it now.

Geez..yer in Ocala. Marion county Fla. Horse country. Lots of open fields down there. I'm jealous.

Ocala? That's the most depressed housing market in the US. Probably get some dern good deals though.

We'll be neighbors soon.

I use a Doohan watt meter. It's a basic bench model. Does not hold it's highest reading though.

When the plane is flying the watt meter readings will be about 10% less then static on the bench.

Been reading this thread backwards. Love my superCub but its stock.

Dang you guys are modding the hell outta it huh? Flattened wing and brushless power.

Ive been looking for my 2nd plane...something more aggressive with ailerons.

How does a modded SC compare to plane like the parkzone Trojan T28?

The Yellow SC is no more

I was flying at Hammondville with some local guys when I came out of a loop and the wing snapped in half

I watched as she plummeted to the ground in a death spiral. I actually think this will be the end of her there is just so many pieces!

The motor mount was pushed through the firewall, the battery bay is in 6 peices where it exploded. I could probably try to put her back together but... theres no point. Im going to reuse the electronics in somethign else though.

Ill post a pic soon.

So how much can a fuse and a wing cost down there?
Here it is 20.00 for the wing and 25.00usd for the fuse.
I go through fuses like Gene-o changes skivvies. Fairly often in the summer Not so much in the winter

Since when do I listen to you?

Nice cub. Big bucks but you get a cool trailer. Not as big as your double wide but it probably has indoor plumbing.
