I just remembered that there is one more *very important* difference between the Safety Switches and the "Replace -100%" method. The Safety Switches disregard limits. They set the output to a set position and that's all. The "R" function does that within the limits.

So if you have a servo in the throttle channel it's best to use the "Replace -100%" method since then you're assured it won't max out and bind.

For electrics using the Safety switches makes more sense.

when I use the heli template CH1 moves 100% +/- but CH2&3 only move 86.5% with aile input and less for CH2&3 on elev input....why is that?
the above mix setup moves as I need it to to control the swash etc, is this a workable mix as it looks promising so far in the simulate screen?

I need to think about the mix and see if there is a real reason for letting the servos move only 0.86% (Sqrt(3)). As far as pitch is concerned that is correct but for aileron use... Need to think

The reason I use CH11 for building the cyclic mix is because it takes less room in the EEPROM and is easier to edit. Your way is just as correct but may take more computing time (latency) to achieve.

I have an Eurgle '2nd Gen' and it is the same as V1. Eurgle just seems to use a different naming. I would expect the '3rd Gen' to be the V2. So it should work just fine.

No. The module uses standard PPM, which is limited to 8 channels.

little off topic....BUT, just unpacked the new 9x and it works fine but in it's stock form the extra channels are useless as you can't assign them to do squat?

waiting now for my order of the 9x board and EL back light kit........and.....still not here yet, I know the web site said shipping after the 10th of Jan! lol

On page 29 of the er9x manual, you will find directions for setting up a custom switch.

Are you using a 9x radio with the ER9x custom firmware?? If so I will send you a pm with a mix I tried and I think works.

You can assign them to do several things. Is there something specific you can't get them to do?

It's an odd mix of C, C++, ANSI C and ruby. Weird, I know but it works. You can generally treat the code as C++.

Yes, I use the last version firmware of er9x with eePe? but I have difficult has to assimilate the mixing, perhaps that if I had an example I would include/understand better.
