Which flight sim has more e-glider models than the other ones?

E-glider simulator

A really nice e-glider sim is free. Go to the RC Groups forum on simulators and look up RC Desk Pilot or check out www.rcdeskpilot.com . You can even download both the original Radian and the new Radian Pro. For a great controller to use with this simulator, check out the 6 channel controller available at sim.tomsrc.com . Try it - you'll like it.

If you have Real Flight R/C Simulator G 3.5 or later, there are some great, free sailplane downloads (plug ins) at Skipmiller Models.

Here is the link for the downloads. They also show instructions on how to import the sailplane models into your G3.5 sim, and how to program the flight sim for a nice high-start.

http://www.skipmillermodels.com/Sear...lts.asp?Cat=62

here are two pictures, screen captures from the program.
This is cool stuff, if you have to fly a sim

why is there always such a short selection for electric powered gliders for flight sims?

I don't know, but once these full-house Skip Miller models are launched, with the high-start, they fly beautifully. I like to fly them to practice energy management with a heavy, all molded sailplane. Plus it's cool to play with flaps/butterfly on a four, or six servo wing.

An electric powered glider, becomes a sailplane (without a motor) once you turn the motor off. The easy task/skill set to climb up at WOT with an e-sailplane , may not be considered worth modeling for a computer flight sim?

Could maybe help get the hang of using down elevator to control climbout. Down elevator seems to be contrary to many for going up and it not so easy for some power guys to reverse thier thumb's thinking for a bit. Just a thought.

Hi, you should try the Radian Pro included in the Radian package.
