Looks like those four wheel vehicles are fully capable of just every mishap except killing the driver and passenger. This is a very good thing. Looks like those vehicle "innards" really take a punding even at those low speeds.

Managed to get up to the field today for a few hours. Got in some good flights with the quad and even got the TRex 550 in the air for a bit. I haven't had much of a chance to fly this summer (life kept getting in the way) so this felt good.

I spent the day setting up my Master CP with newer servos thanks to help from muskoka1.

Was real windy so I didn't do much but hover it. Not quite as confident with it as I am the nano lol.

Ryan, I think you need an axial dingo kit or a honcho....both great trucks and both great platforms for custom creations. I can't even begin to tell you how awesome rock crawling and trail running is! Two of my friends and I got kyosho DRX VE, they are rally cars, (rally cars are the next short course trucks). Yesterday, one buddy and I got out to a school parking lot and we mapped out a little rally track involving a bit of sidewalk and a small curb island. The 4wd rallys on the slick snow handled so great and had a really nice scale feel to it. We'll get some video up soon and I'll post that.

Just got my 'mini pet' quad last week. I've only had time to buzz it around the living room and can't wait for the micro fly on friday. For $45 bucks shipped, RTF, 2.4ghz, this think is completely worth it.

That is a sharp looking bird. It looks like it has a massive tail motor housing. Is all of that housing just motor protection or is there something else in there as well? How does the bird like the air?

Nice bird Raz, I was also wondering about that tail end, looks big and heavy.

the tail has brushed motor, with gear, so it is more efficient

it actually works really well. Tail holds well and some guys even have vids of it doing 3D - even half piro flips which is impressive for a DD tail i think


muskoka1 has one as well and he loves it


flies great; it is heavy for its size BUT has plently of power for a brushed bird.

Nice entry level craft. Ideal stepping stone to larger quads.
