HC, imagine combining quad and four-wheel technology into the same vehicle. You could fly to a remote area and then switch over to four-wheel home. You and NASA could do the same sort of stuff. Yours would be a lot cheaper. Yup, some quads can lift rock crawlers and fly them away. You could use the Go Pro and FPV to drive the whole rig back home on the rock crawler lipos!

Guys, multirotors are GOOD! They are an excellent winter madness.
Ha! Sounds expensive. I got my mind on small stuff for this indoor stuff happening. I'm thinking about burning $40 bones on a mini pet. If I can get up the nerve to flip that little guy, maybe I 'll upgrade after that :-)

It would only be expensive for the first couple of crashes. We could probably talk Ryan into funding those. He is naturally destructive and his wife already knows how much he smashes things. We could call it the "Quality Control Durability Phase" of product development

HC, the way I see it is that we could set Ryan up with a full FPV set for the first prototype. Once he had his Fat Shark googles on he would be ready to go. He could take the test bird up into the skies of Ontario. We could strap on about eight 5000 maH 60C packs so he could wander wherever he wished at whatever altitude he wished. We would even let him take his rocket along. Knowing Ryan, he would have no fear regarding landing this craft on the 401 during the Toronto rush hour and declaring his right to use the HOV lane because he is an electric vehicle. Think of all the data we could collect out here safe on the West Coast. Since Ryan is a good buddy, we could hire his wife to work at our fab plant while Ryan would be serving his sentence. It would only be the proper thing to do.

Spent a lot of time up there cutting down the dead Ash trees.. Been down here getting caught up on stuff down here last couple of weeks. Now worrying about getting back up there to put the lawn watering pumps/hoses away for the winter before the first freeze gets there.. Planning on spending a lot of the winter up there installing hardwood flooring..Tired of the carpeting..

Bamboo flooring can go directly over concrete without floating it. Although not over concrete, we put 2K sq ft in our building about 7 years ago and it still looks great.

We looked at Bamboo but it's just not the look we are looking for.. Want wide boards that look more like in the older days. Want the foam pad under the flooring, ceiling is already low so don't want to raise the floor up at all.. Looking for the new snap together stuff,, we did part of the house with a floating floor back when it was newer stuff and remember having to glue all the joints.. Other than right under my rolling desk chair it has held up very well..
