After months of inactivity on the Un-Official Micro-Flyers Video Challenge thread, I think the time has come to create a new challenge thread, including revised rules, more challenge categories, and fresh new concepts. So I have created the new Micro Flyers Great and Small Video Challenge thread to cater for all of the micro flying audience by adding 5 new challenge categories.

All of the challenge categories are as follows:
  • Helis (IN BLUE)
  • Helis 3D (IN LIGHT BLUE)
  • Quads (IN GREEN)
  • Quads 3D (IN DARK GREEN)
  • Planes (IN RED)
  • Planes 3D (IN ORANGE)
  • FPV also including the use of "key chain cams" and other micro recording devices (IN PURPLE)

Additionally I have added a Hall of Fame where you can compete to get your name on the podium in your respective flying class for the ultimate bragging rights.

Hey guys! Is there any living intelligent life in here? This place is as quiet as a tomb. I thought there would be a flicker of life after the long weekend. Somebody has to be flying something, crashing something, wanting something, installing something or building something. Come on guys! Me? I got a Go Pro Hero about ten days ago. I am waiting on some mounting gear so I can put in on my F450. This cam takes some really nice pics and videos. I can see why it appears to be the de facto cam of choice in the r/c world. Its not cheap but it is really good.

Just got back from a week in a rented camper van..."canadream". Picked it up in Halifax, drove the Cabot trail and the east coast of pei, beautiful place, wish there was more time.

Now in TO ......keeping my eyes peeled for a crazy looking guy flying micro foamies

You will outgrow that mqx soooooooo fast with your skill level. For you, I would strongly suggest going directly to a DJI Flamewheel F450 complete with Naza flight controller and GPS. You will be a lot happier. Our club is working on an indoor funfly at a local church gym. Nice thing about being in a club is that our MAAC insurance carries over to whatever site we use.
