BTW, I've been following this thread on and off. This thread is for the #16 808 keycam. If you go to the main forum there are many threads on "Aerial Photography." You may get some good tips to get rid of some of that jello effect.

Yes, you did see rock quarries. There is a lot of aggregate mined in the area. Ah yes, the jello effect. In my case, that has a lot to do with not having a proper camera mount installed yet. I was waiting on a better camera to arrive from Hobby Partz. The camera arrived but it was D.O.A. Now I am going through the whole R.M.A. / I want my money back plus freight thing. I spent $45.00 for expedited freight from California. It showed up in 13 days, D.O.A. I packed it up and sent it back to them spending $30.00 for Canada Post Xpress guarenteed two days to the U.S. You have to do that if you don't want it "lost in the mail". Hobby Partz then informed me they didn't have any HD cameras left in stock. I told them just credit my Pay Pal account with the cost of the camera and the original freight charge. Funny thing, I haven't heard a word from Hobby Partz since. Next stop, Better Business Bureau.

I am looking very seriously at a Go Pro. I have seen some very solid ideas for mounting one on my quad that are real simple to build. I will buy the Go Pro locally since these things aren't cheap and if there is a problem, I want deal with a "brick and mortar" store. Hopefully, that will get rid of the jello.

Whatever credit card you have on your PayPal, just do a charge back with your credit card Co. Then again, you could be out the S&H...dunno

I'll never figure why the S&H between our countries are so expensive...dang!

You should immediatelly file a PayPal dispute, I have found that it get's the ball rolling much faster. Did you check with the Post Office that the item was delivered and signed for?

We're going thirty miles down a lake in Teslin to an island where we will camp. Yes boys, $hitting a hole for me this weekend

My buddy promises BIG FISH so I'm bringing the gopro. Also, we throw them big fish back.....can't even imagine eating a fish that's been in a Yukon lake for longer than I've been on planet earth

Yes, at one time planes did take off in circles. Our field is about 40 years old. In those days I gather, they used something called "control lines" along with "049 engines" and liquid fuel made of castor oil and alcohol.

I forgot all about the control lines type planes..too funny. Two separate fly area's...That must have been the cat's meow back then.

I have only been a member since December so I don't think I qualify as a full Kamikaze. From what I have seen, the name applies more to planes than to helis. You don't see a lot of heli crashes there. Helis cost too much frigging money LOL!!! There is also a serious migration to quads. Its hard but not impossible to crash a quad.
